Enterprise Search Europe takes place in London in just 5 weeks’ time. Here, we answer a few of the questions you’ve been asking about this business-focused search event.
What is Enterprise Search Europe and why should I attend?
Now in its fourth year, Enterprise Search Europe is the only conference in Europe to focus on search in a business context. If you have a website, intranet, documents or file sharing in your organisation then finding and delivering to or from those multiple content streams quickly and cost-efficiently is critical, not just for your employees but for your customers too. Put simply, duplicating information costs money, and information that is difficult to find in your organisation probably means you’re losing customers to someone who does it better.
Is the conference relevant to my business?
Search is at the centre of every successful business and has become a priority for organisations that understand, among other things, that effective search solutions make decisions easier to make. Enterprise Search Europe guides you through the selection, implementation and management of those solutions.
Do I need technical knowledge to attend?
No. Enterprise Search Europe is not a conference for the developer community, though many do attend. Most of our delegates have a management role where search is critical to meeting business objectives. Enterprise Search Europe is about making search work better and not about how search works.
What can I expect to learn at Enterprise Search Europe?
You’ll leave Enterprise Search Europe with a roadmap for your company’s search needs, as well as the technology and the skills needed to put search to work and manage it in the future. All of our speakers are practising search pioneers from a wide range of industries, including aerospace, financial services, automotive, pharmaceutical, academic and publishing environments. You’ll learn through real-world global case studies, interactive workshops and plenty of networking and social opportunities. You’ll also meet the providers of this year’s latest search technologies, products and services too.
