As a follow-up to my recent post (Modern vs. classic search experiences in Office 365) I’ve got this questions from several people, both as a comment on the blog and social media, and also by e-mail. So here is a quick step-by-step of how to get to the classic search UI from a modern Office 365 page.
Getting started
When you are on a modern page in Office 365 (for example, SharePoint Home), enter your query into the search box in the top left corner.
Here you’ll get suggested results, and below everything, there is a tiny link “Show more results“:
Click on this link, and you will be redirected to the modern search UI.
Go to classic results page
On this page, scroll down to the very bottom. There is a link there that is even tinier than the one above. It says: “Go to classic results page”
Click on that, and you are redirected to the classic, customizable search UI:
Hi Agnes,
I can’t see this link any more on search results. Is this been removed now?
Thanks
