
This month, some important updates have been made for Microsoft Search on the Microsoft 365 roadmap. Let’s see what we can find there, and highlight what we find important to highlight:
Custom result types in Microsoft Search (Feature ID: 81952)
Support for custom result types allows you to create result types with modern display templates with adaptive cards for SharePoint and OneDrive content.
Rolling out since December 2022.

Answer Analytics (Feature ID: 124910)
Microsoft Search Answer Analytics provides insights into how editorial content like Bookmarks, Acronyms, and Q&A are performing within the organization. This feature was very awaited by our clients and customers (and ourselves as well!), so we are very excited about it!
In preview, rollout starting July 2023.
Microsoft Graph connector results in the “All” vertical (Feature ID: 93336)
Results from remote repositories indexed with Microsoft Graph connectors will be displayed in the “All” vertical in Microsoft Bing (when signed in with a work or school account) alongside information from Microsoft 365 apps and services.

Microsoft Graph Connectors in GCC (Feature ID: 98193)
A very important update for government organizations: Microsoft Graph Connectors that allow to index third-party content into Microsoft Graph to enable intelligent experiences like Microsoft Search will be available in Government Community Cloud (GCC).
GGC-H and DoD launch is coming soon.

Connected content will be seamlessly integrated into Microsoft Search mainline search results (Feature ID: 115489)
Connected content will be seamlessly integrated into Microsoft Search mainline search results. Also, users would be able to browse through connected content as well as normal content all together, without a need to map a connection to a custom vertical.
It is a very important feature from usability perspective!

Message vertical in Office.com now available in GCC and GCC-H (Feature ID: 117389)
If you can’t remember where the message was, in Teams or Outlook, just search for it in Office.com or Bing for work and then go to the Messages tab.
